Some Saphron, a Peach and the Crown

So, Peachy arrives in dunedin, and fresh of the plane i take him to scummiest bar in the world to see a band called “The Anals”, who came highly recommended by Saphron’s friend Anita (she was told to see them while down here and in a moment of foruitity, they played together for the first time in forever while she was down). A friends band was opening for the anals, and after asking he informed me that a friend of Saphron’s is actually the barman, another little moment of serendipity.
Peach managed to attack 2 double whiskeys, a vodka, a jug and a bottle. He spend some time with his fingers in his ears sitting forlornly in a booth. We dropped him back at Aquinas College at around half two in the morning and i havent heard from him since.

During the course of the night some observations were made:

• Peachy and the dunedin punk scene arent compatible
• I have pretty eyes and suit eyeliner
• Wearing Black nailpolish is fun if you havent done it in years.
• If you wear black and dont smile, people think you’re sulking. If you then tell them that you arent smiling becuase your muscles are fucked, they give up.
• Saphron knows everyone, everywhere. Its amazing to watch.
• My association with saphron and the fact im going to see live punk at all is making me want to fill my face back up with metal.
